Captain Bruce Fields Jr was born and raised in Carolina Beach. You could say i have a little salt in my blood.I have fished the waters from Southport to Wrightsville Beach my whole life and i specialize in these area waters.I was a commercial fisherman for a while.In my eyes that takes the fun out of fishing.I always said when i grow up i would love to be a guide for inshore charter fishing.So i went and got my captains license with World Wide Marine Training.The course was seven straight days ten hours a day.So i studied hard and aced all seven test then i had to go to Baltimore Maryland to the US coast Guard and submit my paperwork.Then you have to wait about a month to two months before you are legal.So i will provide you with a fun and safe fishing charter. I am fully liscensed and approved by the US Coast Guard and i will provide you with alot of history around the Cape Fear River and show you tricks and tools of the trade for inshore fishing.So i will do my best to keep the whole boat entertained and make sure you and the family have a great time with Flat Dawg Charters.So come join me Captain Bruce Fields Jr for great a day of fishing and fun with Flat Dawg Charters.
